37 is very FANCY!!!

I am 37 years of age. I proposed to my wife on 8/8/8. 888 = 37 times 24.  37 is prime. i am in my prime. i wish i caught 37 waves today. i don't have 37 surfboards.

here is some crazy stuff about 37!!!

Take any integer ..well almost any integer ..any integer not equal to a power of 10 {1 or 10 or 100 or 1000 or...} or not equal to a number with only a single 1 and a single 3 in it (like 13 or 31 or 103 or 301 or 1003 or 3001 or 10003 or 30001 ...) and iteratively compute the sum of the squares of the digits.  eventually ou'll get 37.  

For example, take 12:
1^2 + 2^2 = 5
5^2 = 25
2^2 + 5^2 = 29
2^2 + 9^2 = 85
8^2 + 5^2 = 89
8^2 + 9^2 = 145
1^2 + 4^2 + 5^2 = 42
4^2 + 2^2 = 20
2^2 = 4
4^2 = 16
1^1 + 6^2 = 37!

on a separate note... it turns out that if you take any 3 digit multiple of 37 and cyclicly permute ( take the last digit and put it in the first digit's place over and over again) the digits, you still get a multiple of 37.  So 148 is 37*4, and 814 is 37*22 and 481 is 37*13.
