This is the first piece of my Jim Driver interview. I bumped into Jim's photos online at his surfers rule blog. I tracked him down to find out more about his EPIC photos. This first installment is him talking about this photo. Blackie August and his wife are in this photo somewhere. This was shot in San Miguel in 1964. Eventually I will edit down the entire interview (over an hour of raw footage) into some number of little chunks like this one. I'll post them all up on the same post and leave it as a side bar thingy on this blog. You will have to pardon the low tech approach to this.
