The location is Beacons, Encinitas taken about 1980? I am ridding a 9'6" Bob White Pig shape, board circa 1965. There were not many longboarders in the north county area at the time and I got a lot of waves at Beacons and small low tide waves at Cardiff. That is kelp in the background, does Beacons still have kelp?
