On June 13th 2009 I started this blog in an effort to have a place on the internet where people can share and learn about surf boards we now refer to as "pigs". The more enthusiatic I became regarding my pig boards and my experiences on them , the more frustrated i became on the lack of content on the internet. Hence my effort. Please send me any pictures or stories you have concerning pig boards. I will post them on my blog. surfapig@live.com

surfapig
this blog is all (...well mostly all) about surfboards with weight, belly, wide point aft, a skeg (D fin) and narrow noses . These 5 elements more or less define a "Pig" board as far as I can tell. The funny thing is...back when these boards were being ridden, they weren't thought of as a "pig" they were thought of as a "surfboard".
